(More customer reviews)This cord is NOT long enough to use it to power a GPS unit on the dashboard (at least, not in my car). Which was, of course, what I needed it for: to power my Garmin c340 while driving. (My unit's batteries no longer hold a charge, so I need continuous power.)
Fortunately for me I have a USB extension cord I can press into service. But it's annoying, all these extra cords and junk cluttering up the car.
At least the thing does appear to work. But the cord feels very flimsy, so I don't know how long it'll hold up.
What, you may ask, about the original cord that came with my GPS? I'm on my second, and it's starting to behave badly; at over fifty bucks a pop replacing them is getting to be an expensive habit. This little product was supposed to be the cheaper alternative.
The cord length, by the way, is about 34 inches. They really should TELL us that.
