(More customer reviews)I bought this adapter to use with my Garmin Geko 201 handheld GPS receiver and a Garmin-compatible serial cable and it works well. I did have to download the PL2303 driver [...]because the included drivers on the CD were older and I was running Mac OS X 10.5.2. After installing the new driver and rebooting, I tested it with several programs and was able to successfully transfer data in both directions. The driver disc is a 3" CD and will not load into a slot-loading CDR - which is another reason you may need to download drivers online.
