(More customer reviews)I use this on my snowmobile for my GPS with a diff adapter from an old ram mount. It allows me to position it in a visible location yet have it be out of the way. The only gripe i have is the u bar area is meant for bigger bars. So if youre hopting to use this on a smaller than 1" cross bar. You would need a diff part.
Also, dont forget to wrap to prevent paint chipping/rust. I used electrical tape. Should work fine. doesnt move, but vibrations will stress paint eventually :)
