(More customer reviews)I have 4 devices that I use this with. iPad 64GB WiFi only. The new iPod Touch 4th Gen, iPod Nano 4th Gen and my Blackberry Storm 2. The package does not come with a BB Storm connector but my USB sync/charge cable works just fine. Not a big issue at all. It comes with several adapters but most of them seem useless (at least to me) but you can use your own USB cable if your adapter is not included. The unit comes very nicely packaged in a snazzy, heavy guage cardboard with a "flip over" magnetic flap (if that makes any sense to you). It's nice! I use the box for storing and traveling.
The unit has a female USB connection so you can use any USB cable (I guess). It's worked for me! THIS THING SIMPLY WORKS LIKE A CHARM!! It charges anything I throw at it and it charges multiple times! I cannot tell you exactly how many times nor can I give you any mathmatical statistics but I have let my devices run down to a "low battery" status and recharged them 3, 4 or 5 times and it still had life. I recently went to Thailand (17 hr nonstop, not recommended) and I did not even come close to running out of juice on any devices (obviously the BB was not a concern). My iPods and iPad gracefully survived the flight with Retina displays, games, TV shows and music still full of life. I cannot be more pleased with this device.
I searched long and hard for the right "iPod defibrillator" as I call it. This one somehow appeared in my crosshairs and I decided to give it a try due to the price, the manageable travel size and the 5400mAh lithium battery (which, when comparing it to other iPod defibs, is a lot). I was skeptical, as we all should be when buying crap on the Internet. I am happy to report that have not been let down at all. It is a sexy little device in its own right! It is small enough and light enough but packs exactly the punch I need. It is not tiny but it will fit (albeit uncomfortably) in your pocket (but is just too nerdy for me). It does not get excessvily hot (in my experience) and it really holds a charge. The included flashlight is neat I guess but have have not had a need for it other than turn the lights out and see if it works. It does and is just a LED light bulb on the side of the unit but it does work nicely. My worries of my iPod(s) running out of juice are gone! It does slowly charge the iPad even though the iPad says "not charging". I guess that is a "circuitry thing with iPad"...so I have read. I just don't care. It works and that is what I wanted...a device that works as advertised.
I am not a big "review guy" but damn...I highly recommend this thing! What can I say? It is just another cool device in my arsenal! If you, like me, have a "phobia" of your iPod, iPad, iPhone (or whatever your gadget addiction is) running out of juice at the wrong time, get this little gem! I do not see any disappointment in the horizon!
